Welcome to the Union Springs Fire Department, Springport Fire District.

We proudly protect 3,000 people living in the area of 28 square miles.

And a section of Cayuga Lake. We operate out of one station that the members of the Union Springs Fire Department own on 16 acres of property.

The Union Hose and Engine Company, Inc. DBA Union Springs Fire Department was formed in 1906. Today we have 30 active members made up of the men and women that provide 24 hour a day, 365 days a year service to the community and are proud of it. The Fire Department is located on the east side of Cayuga Lake in the Central New York area.

The fire department main objective is to provide fire/rescue protection on both land and on the water.
